Mama

I love my Mom.

I love that I get to be a Mom.  Thinking today of my friends who are missing their Mom and those who long to be a Mom. Thinking of those for whom the daily activities of being a Mom require tremendous effort and sacrifice.

I love this song performed by Il Divo (not sure of the author) ... As I'm a mom in the thick of raising little ones, it's hard to imagine my boys as grown men looking back on my role in their lives.  Hard to imagine, and very daunting.  Some of the best parenting advice we've heard is that "the days are long and the years are short".
