Nearly 2 months ago, we packed up our wee boys for a week-long holiday in Prince Rupert. Was it worth the 2-day-each-way drive? Absolutely! This was the first time we had all been back there together since we moved away 2 years ago. Although traveling all that way with Jax was especially tiring, we're so glad we got to show him off. The bigger boys had great fun getting re-acquainted with their old stomping grounds. Of course it was all new to Marty as he was only 13 months when we left. (Gasp!)We still miss what we had in our little life there. We still miss what could have been. We still miss the people like crazy. We still have our bouncy castle business there, so that's a good connection with the people and community. We still think it's a vacation destination like no other!
We also stopped to see Russ & Carmen in 100 Mile House, but forgot the camera in the van and it was way too hot to go back outside to get it. They prepared a beautiful spread for a late lunch and we left a few hours later with happy hearts from time spent with good friends.
