Yes!

They offered. We went back and forth a wee bit. We accepted!

The last we had heard was on Saturday when we learned that their house in Quesnel had sold and they were ready to make an offer. We desperately hoped and prayed our house was the one they had in mind. Indeed it was. They hadn't wanted to make an offer subject to the sale of their own home. With that out of the way, the phone call from our realtor came tonight. We are so thrilled at how God has taken care of the whole situation, and provided just what we need to get our lives back in order. Subjects (inspection and financing) to be removed by Oct. 12 and completion of the sale Nov. 16. Hooray!

Something else really cool? Last week an old friend who was one of our very first "youth" at SouthRidge called. It was really out of the blue as he's been going to school in the States and we haven't talked to him often. He has to go back to his serve two years in the military in his home country. He asked us if we could "do him a favour" and drive his car for a few months. He had tried to sell it in the US but was unable to, and his sister will be returning to Canada in the new year. So, would we please keep it for him until then? Um, okay. This is great timing as our truck is complaining more and more with every trip we take, and it's draining our money away with its 110 ltr. tank! Joshie arrives in town tomorrow afternoon after his 2 day drive in our "new" 2002 Honda Civic. He'll stay the night on Max's bottom bunk. Big tall Korean kid ... :)

Oh, you want more cool news? Sure, I've got some. Paul won a very very nice golf putter! He entered a contest at the RV Show on Saturday. The lady called this afternoon (before all the house stuff started happening) to say that he'd won. He thought that may just be the beginning of a very good day for us. Sure enough, our realtor called just a few hours later.

Um, a wee bit more. Paul woke up today after only about 6 hours of sleep, feeling refreshed, energized, and light on his feet.

All in all, a very good day for us.

Thank you all for your prayers!
