We went over to Paul's Mom's on Vancouver Island. Our nephew Colton tagged along. We all had a great time, just enjoying the spring weather and making memories. We had a ferry reservation for the ride over but didn't for the trip back home. Not a wise choice. (I waited too long to make it so the reservations were full.) We decided that rather than waste our whole extra day off waiting in the ferry line-up, we'd catch the 5:15 am boat on Tuesday. It made for a tiring Tuesday but it all worked out. It was the weekend before Marty's birthday so we had cake and presents for him.
That little picnic table is missing those sweet kids.
