Spy vs. Spy

For 4 days last week, Paul and his youth group continued the annual summer tradition of Spy vs. Spy. It's an intense game filled with mystery, intriuge, deceit, espionage and some good old fashioned running. Basically, it's a week-long game of highly sophisticated tag. At the beginning of the game, each spy is given a photo, name and address of their target. Following strict and lengthy rules, they must then kill or be killed. Paul's target was Josh, a first year Spy. Josh took the game very seriously and was deeply crushed when Paul misled him, ending in Josh's elimination on the last day. He got over it soon enough, realizing he had played an integral role in bringing down Chrys, the most notorious, veteran Spy. Chrys is graduating this year and has never won. His legacy in the game was most deceitful and cut-throat. The eventual winner was another Chris, also graduating and a first time winner. It was sweet for many to see the nice Chris take out the nasty Chrys! Everyone is still friends and as long as the local police don't object, they'll do it again next summer. Now the next big thing is camp. Two weeks of camp with two little kids, should be fun!
