I first met Carmen in Grade 4! We stayed somewhat (okay, not really at all) connected over the years in Abbotsford. We reconnected through Anita when she was at CBC with her. Paul has known Russ forever, and also knew Carmen from CBC. And now Russ & Carmen are joyfully wed and preparing for a great big adventure. Love you guys, we'll be missing you.
I also met Julene in Grade 4, but lost touch when I went to a different school. I found her blog through Jen S and have enjoyed reading about her life and ministry in Indonesia. I am encouraged by her approach to motherhood and seeing God working in her everyday life.
Carmen and Julene are related somehow, but I forget the details of that.
